Our not so small enterprise, Nickel City Cheese is a family run business operating in Chelmsford, Ontario. Nicole, owner, who was born and raised in Quebec, always dreamed of opening a cheese factory in Greater Sudbury area for years. After 4 years of preparation, Nickel City Cheese finally opened their doors in August of 2018.

Our award-winning establishment prides itself on serving delicious cheddar cheese products. What sets Nickel City Cheese apart from the competition? Well, for starters, we offer nearly 20 unique flavours of cheese curds. CLICK HERE to learn more about our products.

Nickel City Cheese is also a proud partner of Dairy Farmers of Ontario. What does this mean? Well, when you support our local business, you are also supporting 14 local farmers.

While our products are available across Northern Ontario, we encourage you to visit us in person during the spring, summer & fall seasons so you can enjoy a poutine, mini donuts or even an ice cream cone! If you’re lucky, you may even get the chance to witness the cheese making magic in-person. Tourism Sudbury insists we are a must visit location when travelling to the Sudbury area!
